The Grand Canyon

The Dalbey Trio spent 3 wonderful days at the Grand Canyon. We took some nice walks on the rim trail, ate lunch at the Bright Angel Lodge and enjoyed a nice tour of the visitor center. Steven and I had many emotions going back to the Canyon. If you read our blog you will know that Steven and I miscarried our first child down along the Colorado River in the Canyon back in 2007. Going back helped us make peace with the Canyon and become even mroe thankful for the life we have with Preston. We truly believe he is the gift we longed for 2 years ago. Please enjoy the photo's and I am sure we will reflect more about our visit when we get home. Oh yes, we are currently in Tucson visiting our friends Christi and Doug and having a wonderful time!

Antelope Canyon

While in Page, Arizona we took a guided tour of Antelope Canyon. While my photographs don't look like the ones seen in National Geographic, we really enjoyed our tour and the beautiful mystery that lives in this canyon.

Monument Valley

On our way to Arizona, we stopped at Monument Valley for a look at the beautiful towers of stone. They are quite a sight to behold!

Snow Cone

Its amazing what a little bit of ice and some flavored sugar can do! Steven and I decided to buy a snow cone while were at the Four Corner's Memorial site and wow, Preston loved every bite.
