I love spending time with children, especially the children I met while in Honduras. These children were fun, energetic and compassionate. Despite speaking different languages, it was amazing how I was able to connect with them with a smile, a laugh or some sidewalk chalk or a jump rope. Many of the children we spent time with were so excited to see our team since we have been helping to build their little community for the past 10 years. The relationship with this community is long standing and I believe this trusting relationship only encourages the children to enjoy every moment they have with us when we visit.
