Cardinals Game

Steven and I went to a Cardinals Game today as a belated Birthday date. We had a fabulous time and also decided to bring a couple students we are particularly close to from the Youth Ministry at Central. First, we have a picture of Katrina and Grace. Next is Steve and Jordan. Finally, we have picture of Busch Stadium that Steven took on his phone camera. I think the photo is amazing!!

Yesterday and Today

Here are a few pictures of the Dalbey Trio hanging out yesterday and today. We played with cars, read books, watched 'Thomas', cleaned Preston's room, played in the bath and had dinner with Great Grandma. It has been a great couple of days.

Youth Group

The Dalbey Trio had a blast last night at our weekly Youth Group event. A family from our Church opened up their home for us to come, swim, play, hang out, etc... We also had a special visitor at Youth Group. Our friend, Kelly, who is on her 2 week leave from active duty in Iraq with the Army came to visit. Kelly was in middle school when Steven and I came to Central in 2003 and we have been close ever since. We love you and are praying for you. Enjoy the photos.

Mission Monday

Steven and the Student Ministry at Central try to encourage students to have 'eyes for others'. One of the ways we like to encourage this mindset it to offer service projects for students during the summer. Yesterday was one of those service opportunities. Here is Steven with a small group of students serving with Beyond Housing and doing some home re hab.

Photo Shoot

On Friday we took Preston in for a fun photo shoot at the mall. We like to do this every few months so that we have some more 'formal' pictures for our collection. Preston did great sitting in the studio, playing with toys and smiling for the photographer. Here are a few of the photos.

Happy Birthday

Yesterday was Steve's Birthday. While we didn't do anything big like a party or even make a cake, Steven was able to take a few hours off work so that we could hang out for a while in the morning and go out to lunch. Steven and I also had a 'date night' at home after Preston went to bed. It was nice to just sit, talk and even veg out to a little TV and be together. I think we will do something more 'official' this Sunday when we celebrate Father's Day. Here are a few pictures from Breakfast this morning. Enjoy!

The Zone

Steven and I are at our annual Middle school summer camp - THE ZONE! We are having a blast playing games, singing, listening to talks, eating ice cream, hanging out, etc... I am sure we will share stories and pictures when we return on Friday.

Preston is with Grammie and Papa Dalbey. We miss him a lot, but are sure he is having a blast. We love you very much and miss you. We hope you are having fun playing with trucks and cars.

See ya!

Dear friends and family,
I am in the process of working towards staring my own photography business in the fall of 2010. I have been thinking about this for some time and working on creating a portfolio. I have been talking pictures of friends, students, children, etc... and enjoying every moment. My goal is to provide people with a more inexpensive option to document the most important events in their life. Now, I need your help. Would you help me pick a name for this exciting endeavor? I would like something fresh, creative and warm. I welcome your thoughts, suggestions, encouragement and prayer as I work to making this dream a reality.

P.S. Here are a few of my recent photos.

The Dalbey Trio attended yet another High School Graduation Party. Today we celebrated Marta and all her accomplishments. Thank you for inviting us to your party. We had a wonderful time. Here is Katrina with the girls:
Oh yes, Marta is going to MIZZOU - Go Tigers.

Mucho Cleaning

Steven and I lead a group of students toady in cleaning out our youth storage closet. What promted this service project? The closet was a complete mess! There were YEARS of stuff/junk that needed to be cleaned out. After 5 hours of work, the closet is now clean, organized, and inviting. Thank you to the group of faithful students who spent their time serving our Church and our Student Ministry department. Here are the before, during and after photos.
