Happy Halloween

The Dalbey Trio had a wonderful Halloween! We took Preston over to Eli's house for a little Trick or Treating, dinner and play/hang time tonight. We all had a blast. Here are a few photos of Preston in his costume and with some of his friends.

Pumpkin Patch

After we found out our exciting news this morning that baby Dalbey is a girl - Peyton - we headed to the Pumpkin patch this afternoon for some fun. This is a fun tradition in the Denton/Dalbey family that we couldn't miss. Here are a few photos from our time at Rombach's this afternoon. Oh yes, I think Preston grows more handsome each day. I just love his beautiful eyes.

Its a Girl!

This morning we went to the Dr. and found out that baby Dalbey is a girl! Here name is Peyton Sullivan Dalbey and we will try to post pictures from the Ultrasound soon. We are very excited.

Last Day

Today was my last day of work...well, I am starting a new job on Monday. This was a very hard decision to make but I am confident that the new job will be a new adventure and is best for me and the family. I may talk more later about my new job but I wanted to share a few pictures from my last day at work. Some of my co-workers planned a little party for me and it was so nice to stop work and visit with some dear friends. I will miss many at my old job as they have loved and cared for me well the past 5 years.

Here is some of the party food :)
Sherdonna - a dear friend and co worker

Here is Gloria and Karen - dear friends from the Business office.
Tina - another dear friend and fellow mom. I will miss catching up on a daily basis with her.
This is Cher and Melenie who work in the Children's wing. They are such supportive friends in life and ministry.

Goodbye, Aslan

Last week we said goodbye to one of our first pets. Aslan, our sweet cat, went to live with a nice family from our Church. I miss Aslan. He was a nice cat and loved to cuddle. I hope he is giving his new family lots of love. Here are a few photos of our last day with Aslan.

Mexico Small Group

Here is my small group from Mexico. I loved spending time with these girls and getting to know them a bit. I also loved leading the group with my wonderful friend, Ruthanne. I wish we all had more time to spend together and I look forward to keeping up with them via email and Facebook. Thank you for sharing a piece of your lives with me and encouraging me with your love. I will be praying for each one of you and think of you often.

Preston and the Beach.

The Dalbey Trio arrived a day early to the retreat so that we could settle in and have some family time together on the beach. We also had a day in the middle of the retreat where we could go to the beach and play. Preston LOVED the beach. He spent over an hour making sandcastles and digging in the sand with daddy and our friends. Here are a few photos from our 2 days at the beach.

Ahh, I love this last photos because it just shows how relaxing the beach can be. Preston is out in the water with Steven and our friend, Drew.

Home

The Dalbey Trio is home from Mexico. We had an amazing time and I will now begin to recap all that took place over our 10 day journey. Before I launch into a series of posts on all we did and experienced I will share one important thing I learned while I was away. I learned that I am deeply loved. I am loved not only by God but deeply loved by dear friends and family. I feel like I experienced a much needed dose of this love on our trip and it has left me greatly encouraged. Thank you.

Now, I will begin my series of posts. Here are some photos of the resort we stayed at while working with the Missionary students. First, our dear bird friends.
Next, a beautiful swan.
Here is a picture of part of the pool. It was beautiful.
This is a picture of the Lobby at our resort. It has a lot of space for Preston to run!
Here is a side hall from the lobby. I just love the beautiful colors.
More photos to come!

Mexico

The Dalbey Trio is in Mexico! We are here serving with Mission to the World (MTW) at their Latin America/South America Area Retreat. Our job is to be youth leaders to the missionary students. We are having a blast. We are connecting with our students, the youth team and dear missionary friends.

We feel encouraged, supported and affirmed in everything we do. We have had some time to process some personal stuff as a couple with dear friends and connect with others doing Youth Ministry. We will post photos and comments when we return home mid next week.

We love and miss everyone and look forward to catching up with life when we return.
